WOW – Dancin’ Easy lead singer Becky Carter in top 5 UK finalists in Channel 5 Neighbours Remixed Competition!

Wow, wow, wow…we’re soooo proud!  Dancin’ Easy lead singer Becky Carter was selected among the final 5 contestants across the UK in the Neighbours Remixed Competition.  She had her vocal version of the new Neighbours theme tune played during the opening sequence of one of the episodes on Channel 5.

Well done Becky, you’re a star!

Greg Barnett, Channel 5’s Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, Daytime and Soaps said: “I’m delighted we had such interest and support for Neighbours: Remixed. We had a very hard job whittling the entrants down to our Top 5 but each of them would bring something unique and special to the Neighbours theme and I’m convinced any of our finalists could beat the Aussies!”

In its 28 year history, the show has launched successful singing careers for some of its own stars – Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Holly Valance, Delta Goodrem and Natalie Imbruglia. Over seven million UK viewers tune in to Neighbours each month.

Neighbours is an award winning drama and moved to its current home on Channel 5 in 2008. It transmits twice daily on weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
