Happy 25th Anniversary Vallender Salon!
Dancin’ Easy was thrilled to be asked to perform for this anniversary party at The Retreat Wine Bar in Cheltenham.
Band leader Kim met Joanna Vallender 25 years ago when she was busking on the streets of Cheltenham. She was asked to perform for the opening of fabulous hair salon Vallenders. Kim remembers it well…turning up to a stunning, palacial salon with her sax and cassette player (for her backing tracks)! My, how things have progressed…Vallender Salon is still as fabulous as ever with Jo, Jerome and their team doing an amazing job. As for Kim, well she has given up the backing tracks in favour of her own band Dancin’ Easy…good progress we think!
We all had a lovely Sunday afternoon with some nice, laid back jazz from Kim’s jazz quartet followed by a nice, lively set from Dancin’ Easy.
