Dancin’ Easy had so much fun performing at Annie and David’s Madhatter’s Tea Party celebrating their joint 40th birthdays at the Thame Barns Centre.
It was a very colourful evening with some fabulous outfits and great people!
The Jazz Quartet kicked off with a nice laid back set of well known music as guests arrived for the drinks reception. Some early dancing during this set indicated that we were in for a good night! And so we were….
It was a lively night of dancing with a little bit of magic thrown in amongst the most lovely, friendly and fun people.
Annie and David had worked so hard to create this great evening and it was a privilege to be part of it, we really enjoyed it.
It was lovely to hear Annie and David expressing their devotion to each other as twins and clearly they were delighted to be celebrating their special day together.
All in all, a great night with great people…we were even given some fresh fruit picked from Annie’s orchard before we left! I traveled home with a selection of apples, pears and plums on my lap, a blue sparkly bow in my hair and on a complete high…how bizarre and wonderful the life of a musician is!
Many happy returns to Annie and David. Thanks so much for inviting Dancin’ Easy along to be part of your special celebration and thanks to everyone who came along for making the evening soooooo much fun! We hope to see you all again some time.
