Dancin’ Easy is delighted to welcome Sophie into the band family. She joins Lolly as lead vocalist and brings with her a wealth of experience.
Sophie has already joined the band for a series of gigs over the festive season and it’s hard now to imagine the band without her.
Between them, Lolly and Sophie will share the busy workload of performances. For larger events, the two will sing side by side for a fabulous 8 piece band set up. Bring it on!
Here’s why Sophie has joined our fabulous family of professional musicians:
Sophie is a freelance vocalist, actress and coach who has enjoyed a varied career over the last 18 years in the arts industry having performed in theatre shows and musicals in the UK and Europe, Off – Broadway musicals and plays, NYC cabaret shows in addition to regularly working with live bands and session/studio singing. Sophie prides herself on her professionalism, positive spirt and her desire to always put her ‘best foot forward’.
After being awarded a full scholarship to train in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting, Sophie went onto further studies in Fine Arts at HB Studios in NYC specializing in voice, acting and performance. Since 2008, Sophie has been extensively studying in the Estill Voice Technique and is currently working towards her Certified Master qualification.
Having had the pleasure of working and training with some incredibly talented and wonderful individuals in the performing arts industry, Dancin’ Easy is no exception and Sophie is delighted to be part of this amazing band!
