Dancin’ Easy performed for the 7th consecutive year for this annual charity event at Cotswold Edge Golf Club.
As always, it was an absolutely fabulous event: lovely people, great atmosphere and lots of money raised for this year’s chosen charity, the ‘Hop, Skip & Jump Foundation’.
The organisers, David, Carole and Kristina worked so hard putting this spectacular event together and, as ever, it was a massive success. Over the years they have raised tens of thousands of pounds for many worthwhile causes. Dancin’ Easy is delighted to be their band of choice for every event they do. As David said in his short speech at the end of the evening, Dancin’ Easy has become “part of the family”. We’re so pleased to be part of it and couldn’t wish to perform for a nicer group of people.
We had lots of fun wearing the masks, dancing the night away and welcoming one of the guests, Malcolm, up to sing with the band. We remembered him from last year as he sang with us then too. Malcolm was great and sang a couple of songs, ‘Johnny B Goode’ and ‘Saw her standing there’, much to the delight of this rock ‘n’ roll loving crowd!
There was dancing going on all night, on the dance floor and around the tables. You can see from the photos below that a good time was had by all!
Being presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the end of the night brought a tear to my eye. It was a lovely gesture of thanks and really appreciated. Working with such lovely people makes our job such a pleasure.
Huge thanks to David, Carole and Kristina. We look forward to the next one!
